I love to celebrate randomly.
And there is always a reason to celebrate!
To be honest, I’m not even quite sure how or when the obsession started but these mini celebrations have brought joy on some of my darkest days.
Over the past 10 years my story has included a few major trials including infertility and cancer. These experiences have compelled me to be very intentional about how I spend my days as well as gratitude for the limited moments we have on this earth.
Whether it’s #nationaldonutday or #nationalicecreamday or #nationalbringyourteddybeartoworkday, these simple and fun celebrations can brighten almost any circumstance.
When we adopted my oldest son Gabriel, celebrating randomly took on a whole new meaning. I found pure happiness in surprising and delighting this little boy and he loved celebrating randomly with me! I may have created a monster though because he pretty much wakes up every day and asks if it’s national donut day. If only it were my love.
I also found that surprising and delighting others by celebrating randomly was not only fun, but it connects people in a unique way. This was fascinating to me. I spent time researching and learned how to not only incorporate this into my personal life but also into the success of my business.
I love to sharing how to celebrate randomly with others, especially moms and small business owners who love to surprise and delight everyday.
